Sept 25-27 at UMI

The UMI Sukkot Music Festival & Retreat 2026 is a joyful gathering that weaves together music, community, and spiritual practice during the holiday of Sukkot. Through live performances, participatory workshops, and immersive nature-based experiences, participants are invited to celebrate connection, creativity, and renewal in a vibrant, heart-centered community.

Oct 25, 6-9pm at Congregation Nevei Kodesh

Sing and Dance for the World is a joyful evening of communal singing, prayer, and movement in partnership with Nevei Kodesh. Featuring Noah Leavitt, Melissa Michaels and Rachael Bonaiuto of Golden Bridge, and more local musicians, the evening invites us to come together to connect and engage with Tikun Olam. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit, TBD.

Dec 4-6 at UMI

The UMI Chanukah Shabbaton is a weekend gathering that weaves together Shabbat, Chanukah, music, meditation, and community. Through prayer, song, contemplative practice, and shared celebration, participants are invited to explore the themes of light, resilience, and renewal during the darkest time of the year.

Dec 6, 6-9pm at Congregation Nevei Kodesh

Jan 23 at UMI

Shabbat Shira at UMI is a day long musical Shabbat gathering celebrating Tu B’Shvat and our connection to the natural world. Through song, prayer, and earth based Jewish practice, we’ll explore themes of trees, renewal, and our relationship with the earth.

Feb 25-29 at UMI

UMI’s flagship program, the Meditation Retreat is an immersive experience centered on Abulafian Kabbalistic meditation. The retreat will include instruction, Kabbalistic teachings, individual meditation, and nourishing food. Participants are invited to deepen their meditation practice and explore the spiritual dimensions of Jewish tradition.

Mar 22, Boulder, CO

The UMI Purim Celebration is a joyful gathering featuring music, celebration, and community. This event will take place at a location in Boulder, CO TBD.

Apr 21 at UMI

The UMI Pesach Seder is a communal celebration of the Passover story and its enduring themes of liberation, renewal, and transformation. Through traditional ritual, song and storytelling, we’ll gather to enter the story together and consider what freedom means in our own lives.

Apr 22-25 at UMI

This immersive Pesach retreat explores questions of identity through the archetypes and stories of the Pesach narrative. Through meditation, group parts-work sessions, reflection, and  ritual, participants are invited to explore the different parts of ourselves that emerge along the journey toward freedom.

June 11-13 at UMI

The UMI Shavuot Retreat is an immersive weekend of learning, meditation, Jewish practice, and community. Through contemplative practice, Torah learning, music, and shared ritual, we’ll create space to encounter our Torah and explore what it means to receive and live Torah together.

June 13 at UMI

UMI Shavuot is a communal celebration centered on learning, music, prayer, and connection. Gathering together to mark the holiday of Shavuot, we’ll explore Torah, celebrate the gift of Jewish tradition, and create space for meaningful spiritual practice and community.

July 8-11 at UMI

Join UMI and Nevei Kodesh for a musical Kabbalat Shabbat centered on communal song, prayer, and connection. Gathering at Congregation Nevei Kodesh, we’ll welcome Shabbat together through music and Jewish Renewal. 

August 28-30 at UMI

Over the course of one weekend we will take a deep dive into the immersive and healing power of group drumming using the "Drumming Sounds" evidence-based approach to drumming, frame drum building, and sound medicine.

The month of Elul invites deep reflection on who we’ve been and who we’re becoming. Join us for a soulful Shabbaton of rest, song, and embodied prayer in community, with Eliana and her band.

L’dor v’dor - From generation to generation. Join Noah Leavitt and his mother and step father, Rabbis Shawn and Simcha Zevit for a weekend exploring the spiritual string that ties us together. Expect beautiful prayer, intergenerational wisdom, and heartwarming connection on this weekend Shabbaton.

A Sukkot meditation & Jewish learning retreat in collaboration with Base Denver, Noah Leavitt, & Michael Harlow. At the conclusion of our Sukkot Retreat, we will open the event to the wider community for a “festival” day of meditation and music.
